Snickerdoodles :)

Simple, but addicting.  They've always been one of my favorites.  

You really cannot eat just one.

These cookies are super soft and the perfect size.  Cinnamon and Sugar.  That's all there is to it.  Yummmyy :)


1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 2/3 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400F.
Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients, stir into first mixture.
Form into balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon.
Bake for about 9 minutes.

*shortening vs. butter: shortening makes cookies fluffier, butter makes them a little denser
