I don't really know what to call them... Oreo chunk cookies? Cookies & Cream cookies? So... I just decided to go with Oreo Cookie Cookies.
And they're delicious!
In order to make sure the cookies weren't too dry and chalk-like, I added some white chocolate chips... yum :)
These cookies turned out so great! And they took great photos.
What's even better is they taste just as good as they look!
And here's the recipe!
Oreo Cookie Cookies
12 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
About 12-14 oreos (half crushed, half broken into chunks)
About a handful of white chocolate chips (add to liking)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Beat butter and sugars until smooth; Add vanilla and eggs; Mix.
Add flour, soda, salt, baking powder, and cream of tartar to butter mixture; Mix until combined.
Add Oreos and white chocolate chips.
Drop dough onto ungreased baking sheet about 1 inch apart; Bake for about 8 minutes (edges are slightly golden brown).
