Spiced Apple Cookies

Two days till Thanksgiving!!


That means two days till Turkey, Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, annnnnddd Apple Pie!


But for the time being... these will just have to do.



















These cookies smell like apple pie, and taste a little like apple pie too.  Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and apples.. mmm :)


Here's the recipe!




Spiced Apple Cookies







Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chopped apple


Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Beat butter and brown sugar; add milk and egg; mix until just combined.
Combine flour, baking soda, spices, and salt and add to butter mixture.
Stir in chopped apple and walnuts.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 10 minutes.
